Roles & capabilities

A read-only view of exactly what each role can do. It is generated from the same rules the console enforces, so it stays in step with the app.

Entity managers have no direct database write. Where a cell reads "Own (via approval)", the manager works only on records they manage and their change goes through the approval queue for an admin to publish, rather than being written straight to the live database.
