About
The kachcheri runs the administration of a Sri Lankan district, and Kandy's has been in the same building in the middle of town since 1957. Its auditorium is a working government room rather than a concert hall. The office used it for International Women's Day on 9 March 2021, with women from all 20 divisional secretariat divisions and a USAID-funded programme co-hosting.
