The Manchester is a British-style pub off Independence Avenue in Colombo 7. It shares its premises with an Indian restaurant called Agra, so you can order from either menu at the bar. Live music runs during the week, along with open mic and quiz nights, and the Premier League is on the screens at weekends. Food is served Monday to Saturday, noon until seven. Colombo's expats treat it as a meeting place.
